The SIAC will conduct COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) on Sunday, 4 th November 2012 for the selection of candidates to 11 month full time training programme for the civil services commission (UPSC) in
2013 conducted in SIAC.

The scheme for the Entrance Examination:-

The CET will consist of one paper.
Paper –General studies and CSAT 200 Marks (Time 11.00 to 1.00) 2 Hours
(Multiple choice with negative marking (033 %) deducted for each wrong answer)
I) ELIGIBILITY CONDITION:
a) Graduate from any recognized University.
b) Age as on 1 st August 2013 21-30 years (open category)
21-33 years (OBC,SBC,NTC,NTD,VJ)
21-35 Years (SC/ST)
c) Candidate should be a Domicile of Maharashtra
OR
Candiates belonging to Maharashtra-Karnataka disputed border area whose mother tongue is Marathi and
who has passed in Marathi as a subject in 10 th std.
d) An Ex-SIAC candidate who has availed of the benefit of coaching for prelims or mains in SIAC will not be
eligible for Entrance Examination of SIAC.
e) Full time candidates will not be allowed to do any other courses / job simalteneously.

II) INFORMATION OF ENTRANCE EXAM APPLICATION FORM:

a) The application forms for CET will be available on line from 16 th August 2012 to 17 th September
2012. Application form can be downloaded from the website: www.siac.org.in
b) Students belonging to open category should draw a Demand draft of Rs.200/- and reserved category Students should draw a D.D of Rs.100/- in favour of ‘DIRECTOR SIAC MUMBAI ’ ( Payable at mumbai branch). Candidate should mention his/her complete Name, Application No. & Mobile /telephone number with the STD code on the reverse of the Demand draft.
c) The details of the D.D for filling online application form are necessary.
d) Students should completely fill the form and click the SUBMIT option.This will display the fully filled in application form along with Application Number. Now the print of the application form be taken. Paste recent passport size photograph, attached D.D, sign the application form, and post the duly filled in application form so as to reach from 16.8.2012 to 22.9.2012. The application form received after the 22.9.2012 will not be accepted.
e) Do not attach any certificates with application forms. Certificates will be verified at the time of final admission.
f) Forms without D.D will not be accepted.
g) Application forms,syllabus will not sent by post. It should be downloaded from the Institute’s website  www.siac.org.in
h) Hall tickets will be available on the website www.siac.org.in from 22 th October 2012 to 3.11.2012
